This story is about the interaction of different culture. If I met alien, I would try to get along with them. This book has easy words in order to read, so you will read easily. This book made me excited, because I have never read the book about the gods until last Sunday and this book has short story, which is easy to read. I wanted to read the book about the gods, so I am glad to read. I know the god's name a little, for instance Zeus, Hermes, Ganesha, and Gaia. I'm interested in the gods, so I will read the book about the god. If you are interested in the god, you should read this book. Maybe you will enjoy reading it.

Jojo's Story

There aren't any more days. Time when it's dark and time when it's light. Everything is dead, so why not days too? Everyone in Jojo's village is dead, and ten-year-old Jojo is alone.

This book makes you think about war, because this story is about war. All his family and village members are killed by soldier. He is alone.  If i were Jojo, I wouldn't think positively, that's why he is very great man. I was surprised at ending of this story. If you want to know the ending, you should read this book. You maybe surprised too. If your family were killed by someone, what would you do?

This book has five stories- Quick man, The wheel on the wall, The Special clay, The trishaw man, and Beautiful thing-  to make our smile- and think.

This book has five stories which is very interesting. My favorite story is "Quick man", because this main character is similar to me who do something slowly. I don't like doing something because of my lazy. If I were this main character, I would'nt do so. This story is very interesting and makes you happy, therefore I recommend you to reading!

This book has many different short story which is very easy and interesting to read. My favorite story  is playing with boss. This story has humorous sentence such as My head is becoming big and small. If I were the boss, I would think same thing. This book is the best book I have ever read, so I recommend you to reading.

Remember Miranda

Cathy is going to look after the two young children. she meets the children's family and Nick. Their mother died two years ago, Cathy can't learn about her. Every remembers Miranda, but nobaby wants to talk about her.

 When I first read this book, I guess that  she might got in an accident or she got murdered, but when I finished reading the whole story I understood it makes the book more interesting because Cathy gonna learn about Miranda and find out why she died. This book makes us exciting and has very interesting end, so I just hope some of you will get a chance to read this mysterious book and find out why she died.

The Runaway Pancake

When seven hungry children have pancakes for breakfast, one pancake refuses to be eaten, jumps out of the pan and roll right away. Many animals try to catch it.

This is easy to read and a funny story about a big pancake that ran away before the big round cook could eat it.  This has very good picture, therefore I feel happy. The pig is very clever! If I were this pig, I wouldn't have an good idea.  I notice that this story is based off The Runaway Gingerbread Man which is very interesting story.  If you ever have a chance to read "The Runaway Pancake"----- read it!  In my opinion, it's one of the best children's books of all time, so if I have children, I want to read to my children.

The Peach Boy

When a village is attacked by a gang of ogres, there's only one hero who can heilp them- Peach Boy! He vows to hunt down the ogres king himself and make him sorry.

This is famous story in Japan, however it is a little differnt of Japanese one. For instance, the latter is written that the old woman go to the river to wash their clothes, on the other hand, the former is written  that the old woman go to the river to wash their clothes 'every Monday'. It is very interesting point. It is also interesting that the peach boy and colleague make the ship by the wood. This is very interesting story, so I recommend you to reading this book!

The Coldest Place On Earth

In the summer of 1910, a race began. A race to be the first man at the South pole, in Antarctica, but Antarctica is the coldest place on earth . That's why this race is a long and hard.

 



one of the best books that I read in my life in the end of the book. I cried for the first time because of a book which has the story is a true.  It talks about two teams race to reach the orth pole! My impression scene is "after the snowstorm, there was fog, and in the fog, they got lost on an ice river with hundreds of big holes in it. They could see nothing, and it was very dangerous. In four days they moved nine kilometres." This is a suprisingly place but I don't want to stay a long time, because I don't want to die.  I recommend you to reading this book!

The Phantom of the Opera

It is 1880, in the Opera House, the Phantom who is a body without a head, is a head without body, and has a yellow fasce was scared by everyone. But who has actually seen him ?

this story makes me scared and excited, because the phantom caused bad things and killed people. I was surprised at the phantom's identity. In fact the phantom was the man! He has ugly face, therefore he was hated by someone. If I were that man, I would make people laugh with my face. I don't know that this story is known as "Operaza no kaizinn", so I want to watch this  in the movie or the stage. I recommend you to reading this book. If you were that man, what would you do?

Henry Vlll And His Six Wives

After the king's death in 1547, his six wife finds a box of old letters- one from each of the first five wives. They tell the story of what it as like to be the wife of Henry VIII of England.

 

 

 I was surprised at Henry VIII, because he had six wives!!!  He was very clever, because he spoke 3 languages, English, French, and Laten, however he was very bad.  Secound wife didn't give birth to son, that's why he killed her.Also he divorced fourth wife because of her looks. Through this book, I know human's desire. I like it, because I feel that I'm living now and trying to live hard. I recommend this book to reading.

The President's Murder

The President is dead!

This book makes me sad, because it is bad end, so I 'll talk about this story briefly.
  The news provide us the information which Dinon  killed old prsident, however it was not true thing. The police tried to catch him, but they didn't catch. They are do faulse things for getting more money, that's why people hate them and helped Dinon escape. He escaped very long long time, but in one morning he is found by them and run away quickly, however there was a shot ... two, three, four, five shots and he didn't move again.
I think Why was he killed?  He should be arrested and be needed not to kill. I think the reason why killed him is new president who killed old president. He wanted to hide his crime and accuse Dinon falsely. I read the mistery book which give us a thrilling experience for the first time. It was very interesting series, so I wanted to read more book. I recommend you to reading this book!

 I feel happy, because this book has beautiful picture. I think that countryside makes children great. We learn importance of life through them.    In countryside, we have many chances that play in them.

This book makes me happy, because I undedrstand how to make the rainbow. The machine makes the rainbow. To be honest light makes them. I think this book is great. This book include wonderful expression and unique idea.

 Biff's family camped. Dad had a big paper, pocket money chart. If children do the jobs without a fuss, they get extra pocket money. Next day, they found something they wanted, so they did the jobs and found the fossils. Biff wanted do all job to earn tne money, but she is scolded by dad. They found tha camela which photographers must have left in the beach. Biff bring them to him. Therefore she is given the money. After all she bought fossil.

 This book makes me happy, because Dad' idea is very clever. They do the jobs and cooperate with their brother or sister. I want money in order to travel all around the world lol. So I do the part time job very hard. I want to go Sweden.

They come back to the war. Suddenly that's an raid warning. It means we're going to be bombed. So they go to the station to protect myself. They is given sandwich and gasmask. They learned importance of peace. As a result they can go home and play well.

This book tells me terror of war and importance of peace. When I was junior high school student, I go to Nagasaki and study Genbaku. I think war  must be happen, because it makes people sad.

But his uncle and his soldiers attacked the palace and put him in prison. They taked him to his mother. They attack and win!!!

This book makes me happy, because this magic Kipper saved this land's peace. I was surprised at this carpet. It pulled the wicked uncle from his horse,  wrapped itself round him , and rolled him back to the city.

A summery of the story is as follows.
 Kipper was watching a programme called " The Angry Giant". He lived in a castel near a village and was cross he stamped his feet and the houses shook. Suddenly the magic key began to glow and take him TV' world. But as he is very big, he is said " Go away" by village people. He helped them to mend their houses and said to giant " Stopped being angry". So he help them.


This book makes me happy, because I wanna become big. When I read this book, I feel becoming big. I think that this story is similar to Gulliver's tavel! If I become very very big, I climb Tokyo sky tree and Everest.

 Gran promised to take Kipper, Biff, and many friends on an outing. So she take them London. They do sightseeing and ride boat. In the waxworks which has wax models of famous people. Gran hited them and they began to fall over. They had a good time.


This book makes me laughing, because when Gran showed kipper how to use golf club, she hit the ball too hard and it smashed a window. In addition, this book's picture is funny. I will go to London in this summer. So when I read this book, I wanna go there soon. I wanna go British Museum,and see the Rosetta stone.

Chip had a new book about a princess who coldn't laugh. He made Kipper and Biff try to make laugh.
Biff didn't  make his laugh, but Kipper could do. Suddenly The magic key began to glow and made them take that book's world.The king is laughed by kipper's toy, joke teeth. He tryed to make her laugh by it, but it is destroyed. When he gave up, she looked the king who had mud on his clothes and laughed.


I like this series, because Kippr always do funny thing. I think that Funny wig is more interesting than joke teeth. I feel happy to see one's smile. Laughing protect from disease-causing germ. So I wanna always smile!!!

A summery of the story is as follows.
 Cinderella lives with two sister and stepmother. She was treated badly by them. For example she cook dinner, sweeping away cobwebs, and always stay home. When she cry, Godmother suddenly showed up and changed the pumpkin into abeautiful golden coach, the mice into fine white horses, and the rat into a rosy-cheeked coachman, with whiskers. She joined the party and lost her glass slipper. The prinse depended on it and found her. As a result they got married.


As I know this story, I can understand easily. This books makes me happy, because Cinderella become happy. This is watched by TV and loved by people all over the world.

 Mr. Puff lived in a tall, blue house. He is an inventor. He invented a robot to clean up spills and wheelie Cup. One day, he invited the boy to the dinasaur eggs. At first they are tiny, but they become grow. So he invented size-O- machine. They use to ourselves by mistake. They are attacked by them. However his cat help them and they make them become small.


This books makes me happy, because I like dinosaurs especially Triceratops. He is very cool.
They die out maybe due to meteorite. If I meet them, I own them!!!!!
In adddition, Mr.Puff is very smart. I want his brain lol
I like his invention especially, wheels Cup. I wanna invented it.

A summery of the story is as follows.
 Jack and his mother are very poor. they owned only a cow. So he glabbed the beans, handed over it.
When she know such thing, she is very shocked and threw it to the grand. Next morning it grew very big beanstalk, and he climbsed it. He get a hen whichspawn golden eggs and golden harp. But the giant run after him. So he cut the beanstalk and kill him.  As a result They live with happiness.


 I was shocked, because he exchanged the cow. But if I were him, I would do same thing. After all, he has no choice but to exchange. Throgh this story, I learned the importance of daily thing, take a bath, eat food, and sleep on the bed.

Hansel and Grerel

Hansel and Gretel are lost and staving in the deep, dark forest. Even stale bread and a scary stepmother would be better than endress trees. Then they spy a house made of chocolate and cake. Surely it's too good to be true...

I was very interested in this book.
A summery of the story is as follows.
 Hensel ,gratel , stepmother, and father live together. They are very poor, so she thinks they are unnecessary thing. Therefore they walk deep forest. Hansel and Gretel losted there. They find the house made of snacks, candy, cake, and chocolate. there is evil witch there, and  she catched him.
For help, she trick her and punish. Eventually they can go home and live with happiness except step mother.


I think that stepmother is always evil in Grimm's Fairy Tales. I'm surprised at Hensel's action. He is very clever, because he drops pebbles and makessignposts!!!!!!! In addition, I'm surprised at being able to communicate with many animals!!!

Through this book, I remamber my childhood. I  used to catch the insects, play with my friend in the river, and go fishing.

This book made me happy, because this has very interesting story!!!!!!!
Once, an old shoemaker lived with his wife. He laid out his leather, drew different shoe shapes, cut them out, and sewed them together. Then he stretched the shoe shapes over a wooden foot, cut more leather, and swed it on. Finally he cut out thick soles, made holes in them with a huge needle, and sewed the soles onto the shoes. SAKEROCK is instrument band.
Instrument band is playing musical instrument without singing.
My favorite song is MUDA!
This song is very comical and rhythmical!

Once upon a time, five eggs began to hatch.Out popped five little ducklings.
Four were fluffy and cute, but one was gray and ugly.
So he was pecked by the cute ducks, the geese and herons.
That's why he hid his face and cried, but few years later hegroe into a beautiful swan and lived happily ever after.
I think that bullying is so bad thing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I learn origin of the chocolate by this book. In fact, only a few people drank it and nobady ate it!!!!!
Monkeys knew all about the pods. They liked to break them open and suck out the sweet, white pulp.
One day, a farmer copied the monkeys and tasted a pod.
They let the beans rot for a few days under banana leaves, then put them out to dry in the hot sun.
Next they roasted the beans over a fire, ground them into a paste, and stirred in water and spices.
They called their new drink chocol baa. It tasted very bitter, but they liked it!!!
In the past, it was very expensive and was ate by only rich people.
In 1847, an English chocolate maker, Francis Fry, turn shocolate paste into solid bars.
When I read this book, I wanna eat chocolate, so I will eat it soon :)
