My people tell the truth

This is very intersting story, because telling  thetruth is very important for us. I will talk about this story simply. Chief Wise Owl’s people always tell the truth. They speak the language of the tree s and the flowers. Chief strong Buffalo doesn’t believe him. He thinks of a plan to get Dark eyes, the Indian who looks after all of the tribe’s horses, to tell a lie. He uses his daughter deceiving Dark eyes. Chief Wise Owl’s favorite horse is dead, but Dark eyes doesn’t tell the truth. Finally because Chief Wise Owl is sad, Dark eyes tell the truth. Telling the truth is very difficult, but it's very very important. When you are lied by your friend, you are very sad, so I decide not to tell a lie to my friends. This book tells us importance of telling the truth. That's why I recommend this book to you. Please check it out!!!!

The clever woman

I can't relax 

 This is very interesting book, because this main character is very smart. I respect her and want her thought. I"ll talk about this story simply. Sean Murphy is looking forward to coming home after work. He is tired because his bus is full and he wants to relax with a good book. But when Mr Murphy gets home there is so much noise that he can’t relax. For example his mother plays the guitar, his wife plays the piano, his two younger children fight and his older children argue about the television. So he decides to ask Linda McCormack to help him. She advises him to bring his two chickens into the house, takes the three geese back into the yard, and takes the goat out of the house again. As a result, he doesn’t mind his family’s noise. That’s why he can relax with a good book.
  Her idea is very great because when there is noise, you let quite. However she is more noisy, so she can't mind. This book is very interesting so I recommend it to you!!!!

The African Mask

When Janet came home from work on a hot day in August she picked the mail.

This book is interesting and makes me excited, because this is a ghost story. I"ll talk about this story simply. One day Janet gets a letter from her old boyfriend Donald McKinnon. He invites her to visit him in Scotland. But when she gets there strange things start to happen. The things are caused by a strange African mask. When he and his friend had the African mask, they were tired and became ill. So, she found the reason why the bad things happened. That’s why she and her friend gave the mask back to its owner. As a result, he became better.  In Japan, it is said that things have their soul. I often hear the story a doll comes back home although the owner throws it away.  But the thought that things have their soul is generated by a heart which tries to use things carefully.

Why do you look so tired?

This book is interesting and makes me excited, because this is a story of mystery. I"ll talk about this story simply. Sarah and Ben’s friends and parents never laugh, so they wonder why they never laugh. One night Sarah and Ben have the same dream: the Lord of Tears is going to take over the world and make everyone sad. But they know how to stop him. Together they set off on a journey to find the Lord of Tears. On the way to finding it, they met many creatures such as the goblin and the dwarf. Finally, they play the flute and bring happiness and laughter back to the world.
 My favorite part is everyone laugh and smile because of getting the Lord of Tears. I think that laughing is very important for our health and our tension. Surprisingly, to laugh killed a cancer and makes us happy.
 This book is very interesting for me, so I recommend it to you. Please check it out!!!

The surprise

 A dinosaur born from an strange egg. What do the children do with their new pet?

 

 This book makes me very interested, because I like dinosaurs very much. I'll talk about this story simply.when Aunt Elizabeth comes back from Greenland she has a very strange present for Roger and Helen- a big egg. One day when they are eating dinner the egg starts to crack open. And imagine their surprise when out pees Dacty, a dinosaur from long ago. Its wings are damaged because of capacity of the thier room. That’s why they cure its wings. And it became a hero because it caught a thief. As a result, it is able to live with Roger and Helen.

 My favorite sentence in this book is "Helen gives a sausage to the animal. The animal is very hungry. It eats five sausages, two cooked tomatoes and six pieces of toast", because I want to eat many foods such as a pasta, a chiken, and many other things. If I had a dinasaur, I would fly and go to the top of Mt. Fuji. Through this book, I learned the importance of love each other.

The stolen white elephant

This is no ordinary case. We must move carefully. And we must keep it secret.

I read the book "The stolen white elephant" which is very interesting for me.　This book is a mystery.  The writer also wrote”Robinson Crusoe"which is famous story.
I'll talk about this story easily. This is the story of a royal white elephant. The elephant is on its way from Siam to England as a g job gift to the Queen. When it disappears in New York City the famous detective, Chief Inspector Blunt, leads the investigation. However finding a missing elephant is a much more difficult job than it seems.
My favorite sentence in this book is "White elephants are more important than the king.", because I didn't understand why white elephant is more important than the king. We discussed the thing and came up with the idea. An elephant supports the earth in the universe in myth. That's why the elephant is more important than the king.
This story makes me excited and interested, so I recommend it to you. Please check it out.

Juan Bobo

Mama puts Juan Bobo to work whenever he is having a good time. But he always finds a way to make work fun- like using baskets instead of buckets to carry water, or sprinkling the pig with Mama's favorite perfume.

This book has 4 stories which are very interesting because all of them are very funny story. I was surprised at Juan Bobo's idea. For example he sprinkled his pig with her moter's favorite perfume to go to church. In addition to this, he brushed his pig's teeth with her toothbrush. This book was painted with vivid colors in order to express cheeful of this book. I recommend this book to you. Please check it out!

Macbeth

If I do it, then I must do it quickly. But will this murder be enough? Or will more problems follow? No man avoids the judgement that's to come and I'll be judged in this world too. 

This story was written by William Shakespeare who is very famous writer. He wrote many stories such as "Hamlet." His stories make us fascinated. When I read this book, I like this book the best of all his stories. There is the reason. This story has the nature of people such as greed and passion. After reading this book, I decide to live strongly. This story has long story, but I recommend this book to you. Please check it out!

Aesop's Fables

"I thought I'd try out life in the country."

This book has many kinds of stories. I read a story about mouse's tale. In this story, Country mouse and urban mouse try out life in the country. in the out of counry, there are many foods whcich have never seen. they eat them and are found by a big cat. Do they escape from the cat? I read this book and felt this is very interesting.I like eating many kinds of food. Are you wanting to eat now? I want to eat a Japanese omulet and rice. I recommend you to reading. Check it  out!

The ooze

You are a college student. One day, while cleaning the bathroom, you find something odd... and very hungry. 

I read this book whose title 'The Ooze'. This story is very interesting, because you can choose ending, so you can enjoy many kinds of ending. If you met green monster, would you do?  I escape this monster. I recommend this book to you!

Frog

Splash into the slimy world of frogs, and find out how they feed, swim and keep safe from danger. 

This book is very interesting for me, because it tells us about the frogs. I like frogs. There two reasons. First, they are cute. For example, they have fat body. Second, they cry "croak". By the way, do you know flogs change their skin every a week. I did't know this thing, so I was surprised. If you want to know frogs, you should read this book!

Soccer Crazy

Estela, capten of the women's soccer team, is very exited. Her team doesn't has the coach, so she wants to employ his. However he doesn't think women can play soccer. Can she change his mind?

This book is very very interesting for me, because I was captain of hand ball team in my high school. Working as the captain was very hard ,but was very enjoyable. Through this book, I learned the importance of thing- People never give up. Therefore I'll try to do many thing without fear. I recommend this book to you.

The Golden Goose

Billy isn't strong or handsome, but he is kind. One day, he is kind to someone who gives him the best present- a golden goose. It's just the start of the fun in this jolly classic by the Brother's Grimm.

I have ever read this book in Japanese, but this story is very interesting. My favorite part is the women who steal golden goose is linked it. If I got this goose, I would look after it instead of selling it. This book has short sentences, therefore you can read this book easily and without wasting time. I recommend this book to you.

The Enormous Turnip

"That turnip's ready", said the farmer, one morning. But he can't pull it out of the ground. Soon he has a string of helpers. Can they pick up this?

This book is very interesting, because the turnip is too big to pick up. Father has string helper, such as his children, his wife, his dog, and a bird, so they can pick up this. If I picked up enormous turnip, I would eat by soup. In fact, this story is famous in Japan. This Japanese name is " Ookinakabu", but ending is different from Japanese one. I recommend you to read this book.

The Enemy

a young woman  is walking home from church and is smiled by stranger. In addition, her father disappeared . Why has he disappeared?

This story is very long story and it takes about 3 hours to finish reading, so you should read this book when you have free time. I was surprised at this ending which makes me very sad. I had never read this ending until read this book. You must be surprised this ending!! If you know this ending, you should read or ask me! My favorite word in this book is " you have my world",  because I have strange world in myself. I recommend you to read this book!
